CHATEL is located in the heart of the amazing French-Swiss ski area "Portes du Soleil".
This ski area is one of the largest in Europe and has more than 10 French-Swiss resorts linked together.

PEDESTRIAN PASS - ACCOMPANYING PERSON:
If you have booked lessons for your child at Super Châtel (meeting point at the top of the gondola), and you don't ski, you can buy the "accompanying child" pass at a preferential rate (on sale only at the ESF office, and for one accompanying person per booking).
Non-skiing "extra" adults who also accompany the child will have to buy their pedestrian pass at the Super Châtel gondola ticket office at the normal rate.

Is the ski lift pass included in the price?
No.
You must arrive at the course with your ski pass ("Espace Liberté Châtel" or "Portes du Soleil" for the "Freeride" course).
For children under 5, the ski pass is free, but you must go to the lift ticket office to ask for a "free - 5 years" ski pass. You'll be asked to provide proof of your child's date of birth, so don't forget to bring your child(ren)'s identity card or family record book.
We also recommend that you insure your children with a Carte Neige license or Snowrisk ticket.

What is the preferential rate ski pass offered when booking children's lessons?
The "preferential rate" ski pass is offered when you book your "Children 5-13" group lessons (6 sessions) for the Ourson, Flocon and 1re étoile levels on our website, and only when you book online.
This ski pass is adapted to children's technical level, from beginner to 1st star, as part of the progression and development of ski lessons.
This ski pass can be used outside ski lessons, but only on a limited part of the Châtel ski area.

Limited to the following facilities:
- PRE-LA-JOUX ski area :
Treadmill, TK Ruby, TK Covagny, TSD Pierre-Longue, TSD Chaux-des-Rosées, TK Keyset.
- SUPER-CHATEL ski area :
Télécabine, Télécorde, TK Poussin, TK Poussinet, TK Coquelet, TK Lac, TK Chermillon, TK Débutant, TK Les Coques, TS Conche.
